Traveling to Florence. Traveled together with my son (Yannick) and his girlfriend (Noa) to Schiphol. They had a different destination, but we had a chance to have a breakfast and do some shopping.
The day continues well with a free upgrade to business class. The weather is great today, but miss the middle of the day due to traveling.
The coming two days I will be at a supplier event for rotating equipment, so already a taste of it.
Nice view over the North-Holland farming fields with the maze of small canals.
Beautiful view over the Alpes, as the sky is crystal clear.
Landed in Florence. Beautiful weather.
Cattedrale di Santa Maria del Fiore, built from 1296 to 1436. The shape from the top is like a flower (florentina in Italian).
Third largest cathedral in the world. The largest is La Sagra Familia in Barcelona and second is the one in Ulm, which I saw every weeknight for three years.
Finish a long walk with a good wine.
And maybe a steak Florentina? Naahhh…
