After a good day at work I try to catch up with a hobby that I abandoned for years: Photography.

During our vacation in Sri Lanka and Maledives I noticed the beauty of nature and culture that saw and want to share.

My new Nikon/Falcam rig.

I decided to buy a Nikon Z6ii and a Falcam Rig with a Nikkor 200-500 Zoom lens and a Nikkor 24-120 allround lens.

Trying out the manual modes.

The secret of photography is not to rely on automatic settings, but to play around with the ISO, the white balance and diaphragm. The next level is the shutter time and the auto versus manual focus..

The 5 dimensions with an eye for your surroundings. Light, speed of movement, daylight settings, ambienceā€¦ what do you want to bring across.

The weather is so bad and wait so much to start capturing these unique shots on birds and wait for them to get in my unique shots-settings.

I am sitting in my cosy place at home enjoying to play with the light. It was a long time I had the time to do this. It is a new dimension for me: work hard, live well.
